Star Star or Celebrity Skin

I love each band's full length cd. CS is a bit quirkier. Both are good. I think I'll give the edge to Star Star, however. The reason being that they also had a second un-released cd that is great. CS only had a rather flacid EP (albeit with an awesome cover of S.O.S.)

CS's biggest influences, Rocky Horror
Picture Cobblers. But I never 'got'
Rocky Horror, so I don't understand it.

I quite like the idea of going to the cinema
in stockings and basque, mind you, but the (RH)
music, I think, is awful.

I'd have to say Star Star, but Celebrity Skin were pretty cool too!
CS had a style that was very individual back then. A sort of whacked-out acid sort of Pantomime show and videos.
Star Star win it for me due to the chunkier sound and more aggressive delivery.

Skin had 1 cool original song, and then the amazing SOS cover, and that was it.

Star Star stood a chance to be one of the greatest Glam bands ever, but then chose the alternate route and just disappeared.

Star Star all the way.

Never heard CS, but "The Love Drag Years" is one of my favourite albums, so it's a pretty safe bet to say it'll be Star Star.

Darren,the music in Rocky Horror was never meant to be "good". The whole movie was total camp,music included. I do have to say watching Tim curry play Dr. Frank N Furter is a joy to behold. Gotta love it!!!!! Wish I had those legs..LMAO!
